Properly organized landscape lighting of the site ensures comfortable and safe movement around the territory, and also performs a decorative function, allowing you to emphasize beautiful places and individual objects of the landscape.
Lighting in landscape design is used to illuminate alleys in parks, trees, driveways and paths. Lighting systems are designed and installed on paths, recreation areas, parking lots, sports and playgrounds, gazebos and verandas. You can illuminate the driveway to houses, stairs and terraces, and also install lamps on fences and railings. Landscape lighting is divided by purpose:
- Functional (utilitarian). Lighting systems installed on access roads, garden and yard paths. This category also includes lighting systems designed to improve the safety of the facility. Good lighting of recreation areas allows you to comfortably use gazebos and sports grounds even in the evening. Security lighting protects the territory from thieves and vandals, is installed along the perimeter of the site and turns on when an approaching person is detected.
- Decorative. With the help of outdoor landscape lighting, you can place the right accents on specific areas of the territory, highlighting the most original and interesting places. Decorative light makes it possible to create a unique design of the site, playing up architectural objects, plant compositions, ponds and waterfalls in the desired style.

Types of architectural landscape lighting
- Local. It is used to emphasize individual elements of buildings - columns, arches, windows. It is implemented with the help of LED lamps, which are installed on the facade of the gazebo, veranda or building.
- Flooding. Suitable for emphasizing the original style of architecture. To obtain a general light fill, large-sized powerful LED floodlights are mounted along the perimeter.
- Hidden. Hidden silhouette lighting is used to create expressive outlines, and hidden contour lighting is used for a soft glow.
Types of landscape lighting for plant elements
- Flooding. Used to illuminate lawns, flower beds. It is implemented by installing lamps on 0.5 m high supports.
- Contour. The contours of trees and shrubs are illuminated using flexible LED strips.
- Spot. Used to highlight accents of different shapes and sizes. Spotlights are installed at ground level or 10-25 cm higher. To create the effect of internal glow, diffused glow lamps can be installed in the crown of the bush.

For the organization of functional lighting we use:
- Classic lamps installed on a support 2-5 meters high. Suitable for placement along the main paths and entrances. The height of the supports, the distance between them and the power of the lamps are selected in such a way as to ensure good uniform lighting.
- Marking illumination. With the help of lamps of the type "bollard", "light columns" you can designate the direction of movement along the paths.
- Area lighting. We implement it by manufacturing and installing supports of different heights, on which we install vandal-proof floodlights of different power.
- Directional lighting. We install directional LED lights under the roof of gazebos and other objects, providing a good level of illumination inside the structure.

Pouring
Suitable if you need to highlight the entire building. For uniform illumination of the facade, we use white light of different shades (from cold to warm). Perfect for landmarks.
Contour
We highlight the protruding parts of the building: ends, columns, cornices, windows, arched openings. It is carried out on separate parts of the building or along the entire perimeter. For illumination we use LED strips and garlands.
Background
Suitable for free-standing buildings, structures, architectural elements. Powerful spotlights snatch the object from the darkness: the building seems to emerge from the void, attracting the attention of passers-by.
Dynamic
A lighting solution that allows you to change the appearance of buildings depending on the weather, event or time of day. We use programmable LED lights.
Accent
Accent lighting is designed to highlight architectural elements: columns, window openings, moldings. We use soft, diffused light from narrow-beam LED spotlights.
Stages of work
- Visit of a lighting engineer and lighting designer to the site – for photographing the area, visual assessment, negotiations with the customer.
- Based on the collected data, we develop a lighting design taking into account the landscape features.
- We select equipment, calculate an estimate and agree on the price of landscape lighting, and carry out the design.
